Gorleston is Norfolk's 'best kept secret' with its golden sandy beach (Lifeguard patrolled), perfect for bathing, building sand castles, watersports, windsurfing, angling etc. Adjacent is the paddling pool and yacht pond.

Gorleston Bandstand is in sight and sound of the cottage. Enjoy a Summer Sunday afternoon relaxing to a variety of bands.

On the cliff top there are beautiful lawns, tennis courts, bowling greens, a children’s ‘Pirate Ship’ play area, putting green and a trim-trail.

The river, just 100 metres away, is one of two entrances to the Norfolk Broads. Gorleston Pier is a favourite spot for sea anglers offering a good variety of fishing all year round.
